I trained in advanced clinical hypnotherapy at The University of London Union with practicing Harley Street professional
Brian Jacobs. Advanced clinical hypnotherapy integrates successful elements of hypnosis, NLP and other therapies as appropriate. The training included certification as a smoking cessation specialist, using methods that have been known to achieve 95% success. I am a member of the
General Hypnotherapy Register ,
National Guild of Hypnotists and an associate member of the
Hypnotherapy Register and am bound by their code of ethics. I have additional training in
The Fertile Body Method,
HypnoFertility,
HypnoBirthing, NLP,
EFT and Past Life Regression.
Other qualifications.
I am a qualified nurse, midwife and health visitor. For many years I practiced as a family planning nurse and a community practice teacher eventually becoming a Team Leader.
In 2001 I developed a passion for complementary therapies following receiving some reflexology treatments. I then trained as a reflexologist and I am qualified to internationally recognised standards. My professional organisation is the
Association of Reflexologists which means that I am governed by Codes of Practice and Ethics, and that I have all the appropriate insurances as a professional therapist. Since doing my initial training, I have gone on to specialise in my particular areas of interest and experience. To date, I have gained further advanced reflexology qualifications in: Reflexology for Maternity and Fertility (infertility): and Light Touch Reflexology (sometimes referred to as: Reflextherapy).
I am an accredited healer with the
College of Psychic Studies and a member of the
NFSH (National Federation of Spiritual Healers). I am a Reiki Master / teacher in both Usui and Seichem Reiki.
